Wendy Urwin (whose name is commonly misspelt Wendy Irwin) is on the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council) accredited register, as approved by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, which permits referrals from GP’s.

 

Wendy Urwin (Wendy Irwin) is also a member of IFM (Institute of Functional Medicine) and is working towards an MSc qualification in Nutritional Therapy.

These professional qualifications demonstrate Wendy Urwin’s (Wendy Irwin’s) desire to achieve the highest standards of integrity, knowledge, competence and professional practice. She regularly attends CPD events in person and online to keep abreast of the latest scientific research enabling her to update and develop her clinical practice.

Wendy Urwin (Wendy Irwin) has specialist knowledge of working with gastro-intestinal complaints, food intolerances and chronic Lyme disease. She is one of the first people in Scotland to be trained in the practice of Nutrigenomics and recently spoke about this subject on Radio Scotland.
